Fig-Glazed General Tso’s Chicken
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
Ingredients
4 ripe figs pureed
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp honey 1 tsp garlic minced
1 tsp ginger minced Red pepper flakes
Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, h
oney, garlic, ginger in a bowl
Procedure
Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes
Stir-fry marinated chicken until cooked it properly
Mix pureed figs with a little water to thin out
Pour over cooked chicken during last minute of cooking
Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions & serve over rice or noodles
