Fig and Balsamic Glazed Carne Asada Tacos
1 lb flank steak 1/4 cup fig jam
Ingredients
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar 1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp lime juice Salt and pepper to taste
8 corn tortillas
Fresh cilantro, lime wedges, and avocado for garnish
Mix olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper
Procedure
Marinate the
flank steak
for at least 30 minutes
Grill the steak to desired doneness & rest before slicing thinly
Mix fig jam and balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan
Heat until slightly thickened
Slice the grilled steak and place it on tortillas
Drizzle with fig glaze and garnish with cilantro, avocado, and a squeeze of lime
